As part of Digital Media final year project, we were divided into different groups tasked to execute various assignments in regards to raising awareness about a specific theme that has been appointed to each group respectively - ours being the topic of mental health problems. Mental health problems outlines a broad scope of mental health disorders which affect an individual’s mood, sense, thinking, judgement and ability to function. Mental health problems are intricate and can take into various forms, making it one of the significantly under-reported cases around the globe. Anxiety, excessive stress, and depression, to name a few, are some examples of the most common mental health problems that continues to affect people across the borders.

‘Mental Health x Perspective’ is the agreed name for our final year project. In this project, we will be conducting research to further understand the mental health problems and their resulting stigmas-to better prepare our upcoming exhibition with the aim of raising awareness of mental health through digital media and their helping platform MhIND. We hope to be able to connect with our audience in related ways and at the same time to provide them with more information and knowledge on mental health issues, particularly in Brunei Darussalam.
