The story opens up with a narrative, told from the perspective of the girl. She expressed how she wanted to pursue the creative industry and arts but is held down by her parents desires and wishes. She grew up to be what seem to be a perfect person with good academics and such but is actually deteriorating from the inside; especially her mental health, suppressing her own desires and wants in order to please her parents - having the mindset that they know what is best for her.
